We have the perfect replacement for the old Sharp PC-1270 computers, which are no longer made or serviced by Sharp. The new Palm Zire PDA's have a much better operating system, a large screen display, and the software looks and acts just like a Windows program on your PC. Welcome to the world of high-tech drag racing! If you already own a Palm OS PDA, the ET Predictor II Software for your Palm OS (3.x, 4.x, 5.x) from Family Software will enable you to properly manage air/fuel ratios for the current air density, track vehicle performance or modifications, and accurately predict elapsed time and throttle stop settings according to varying weather conditions. Included are programs to calculate Air Density, Horsepower Correction, Density Altitude, Dew Point, Vapor Pressure, Corrected Elapsed Time, Run Completion, and our exclusive Run Segment Analysis program for Compulink style race tracks. The next best thing to having an on-board computer. The ET Predictor software is the most accurate ET Prediction and Weather Station software available. The ET Predictor provides a Horsepower Correction Factor (HCF) and Air Density Index (ADI) using a standard of 0 Elevation, 29.92 In Hg Barometric Pressure, 60 degrees F Temperature, and 0 percent Relative Humidity. Under these conditions, the HCF equals 1.0000 and the ADI will equal 100.0 percent. The HCF and ADI compensate for pressure, temperature, and relative humidity. Conditions that improve the HCF and ADI are cold air, high air pressure, and low humidity. -- DataMaster 3.0 Program Update --
We were very busy this winter and spring developing new hardware and software for drag racing. A lot of customers had requested an update for the DataMaster data recorder software and gave us many suggestions which we have implemented in this new version. Here are some of the changes and additions we have made to the DataMaster program.

1. We have added the ability to select 3 more Com Ports, from 1 to 6 in the DataMaster.exe Download program.

2. Your Preferences (Settings) for Com Port and Baud Rate are now saved for you each time you use the program.

3. A routine has been added to check the filename length that you enter into the program, so that you cannot use a filename that is too long for the DM.exe program to handle.

4. The mouse driver has been modified for use with Windows XP, so that you no longer need to use Alternate Keys to access features of the program if you have a mouse connected to your computer.

5. On all of the graph screens, we have added an "X" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. If you are using a mouse, you can click on the X to close the screen rather than use the ESC key.

6. Some laptops had a problem displaying the Current RPM Data legibly on the Graph screen, due to problems in the screen driver that came with those laptops. We have added a delay loop which cures that problem on most of the laptops we have tested so far.
